What is the difference between a pivot chart and a normal chart?

A normal chart typically represents data directly as it is organized in your spreadsheet. Each column and row in your data directly corresponds to a specific data point on the chart. This type of chart is straightforward and useful for visualizing basic relationships and trends.

On the other hand, a pivot chart is closely tied to a pivot table. A pivot table allows you to summarize and analyze your data in a dynamic way by rearranging and grouping it. The pivot chart complements this by providing a visual representation of the summarized data. It allows you to dynamically change the view of your data, making it easy to analyze different aspects without altering the original data structure.
